Chess and Marketing

Recently, Geico, the insurance company, began running a commercial to promote its car insurance in which Andrés Cantor, the football/soccer announcer famous for yelling, “Gooooooooooooooooooooooooal,” whenever a team scores, tries to enliven a chess match.
Of course, that is not the only time that companies have used chess as a marketing tool. The following video is from XanGo for an herbal supplement called Eleviv that the company says is supposed to boost energy, improve mental well-being and, well, improve intellectual performance. Whether such claims are true or not is a question for others to answer (and perhaps the Food and Drug Administration), this is a chess blog after all. But the video is amusing.
