Mar 12-14 or 13-14: WESTERN CLASS CHAMPIONSHIPS, 5 rounds, Renaissance Hotel, Agoura Hills CA. $20,000 projected prizes, $16,000 minimum.
Mar 19-21 or 20-21: MID-AMERICA OPEN, 5 rounds, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Clayton (Saint Louis), MO. $20,000 projected prizes, $16,000 minimum guaranteed.
Mar 31-Apr 4, Apr 1-4, 2-4 or 3-4: PHILADELPHIA OPEN at Sheraton City Center Hotel, replaces Foxwoods Open. $100,000 projected prizes, $70,000 minimum guaranteed. Open has 9 rounds with GM and IM norms possible, lower sections 7 rounds.
April 23-25 or 24-25: SOUTHERN CLASS CHAMPIONSHIPS, Nashville TN. First CCA tournament ever in Tennessee! $10,000 projected prizes, $7,500 minimum.
May 27-31, 28-31, 29-31 or 30-31: CHICAGO OPEN at Westin Wheeling Hotel. $100,000 guaranteed prizes. Open Section is now 9 rounds with GM and IM norms possible! Other sections are 7 rounds.
June 25-29: PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL. 9 rounds at Valley Forge Convention Center and connected Scanticon and Radisson Hotels.
June 25-27: WORLD OPEN SENIOR AMATEUR. 5 rounds, 40/2, SD/1, Valley Forge Convention Center. Open to age 50/over rated under 2010 or unrated. $2000 projected prizes.
June 26-27: WORLD OPEN GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP. 5 rounds, G/90, Valley Fprge Convention Center. open to all girls born after 6/28/92.
July 1-5, 2-5, 3-5 or June 29-July 5: WORLD OPEN. 9 rounds, Valley Forge Convention Center and connected Scanticon and Radisson Hotels. World's biggest open tournament- $250,000 projected prizes, $175,000 minimum!
