From 15 to 24 February 2009 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, by the Puerto Rico Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Jorge Vega (PUR), President of Americas Chess Federation and member of the FIDE Arbiters’ Council.
15 people participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following six(6) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
Omar Aneses Bocanegra 93%, Pedro A Mendez Guzman 90%, Luis Sosa Trani 89%, Edwin G Delgado 81%, Cristobal Vega Adrana 80% and Sarymar Prado Benitez 80%.
